Energy POLICY

Umm Al Qura Cement Company (UACC) aims to be a leader in the high-quality production of Cement and Clinker products that confirm to Domestic and International standards.

We strive to satisfy our customers’ expectations while maintaining the highest standards of energy efficiency and sustainability.

UACC is Committed to:

  1. Continual Improvement: Continually improve energy performance and the Energy Management System (EnMS) according to ISO 50001:2018, appropriate to the purpose and context of the company.
  2. Resources & Information: Ensure the availability of information and necessary resources to achieve our energy objectives and energy targets.
  3. Legal Compliance: Satisfy applicable legal requirements, including SEEC and SASO regulations, and other requirements related to energy efficiency, use, and consumption.
  4. Objectives: Set and review Energy Management Objectives and Targets at all relevant functions and levels to drive performance improvements.
  5. Procurement & Design: Support the procurement of energy-efficient products and services, and support design activities that consider energy performance improvement.

This policy is communicated to all employees and interested parties and is reviewed annually to ensure its continued relevance.
